As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll be part of our team located in Elyria, OH. You’ll get to: Assemble, disassemble and repair manufacturing equipment. Rebuild, repair or install parts in manufacturing equipment. Fabricate replacement parts for manufacturing equipment. Fabricate other items as required to support manufacturing. Perform ordinary arc, T.I.G. welding, and acetylene welding. Perform a variety of bench and machining operations. Diagnose and remedy minor electrical trouble. Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized workspace. Follow all health and safety regulations. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient with lathes, grinders, milling machines and other machine shop equipment.
  • Proficient in welding.
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Prior tow motor experience.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment requiring the employee to stand and walk for majority of an 8 to 10-hour day.
  • Bend, lift product, equipment and tools up to 50 pounds throughout the day.
  • Push or pull product up to 200 pounds.
  • Use hand tools up to 20 pounds over extended periods of time.
  • Ability to work at heights.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a cold heading facility preferred.
  • Certification preferred.
