About The Position

As a Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for supporting facility reliability and production efficiency through preventive maintenance, equipment repair, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives. Performs maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, refrigeration, and utility systems; conducts inspections and preventive maintenance; fabricates and welds components; and responds to equipment issues to minimize downtime. Maintains accurate maintenance records, develops job plans and procedures, coordinates with vendors, and ensures compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Also supports facility upkeep, grounds maintenance, snow removal, and operation of forklifts and lift equipment.

Requirements

• Minimum of two (2) years of related mechanical or electrical experience and/or training.
• Manufacturing industry experience.
• Good math skills.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office and CMMS.
• Good electrical concepts (proper use of test equipment; schematic symbol & diagram comprehension, wiring, etc.).
• Good mechanical knowledge (machine guarding, drive belt installation & alignment, seal replacements, etc.).
• Good pneumatic & hydraulic knowledge (replace and repair; check valves; filter assembly, etc.).

Nice To Haves

• Welding and fabrication knowledge.
• Associate degree in a related field.
• Refrigeration Operator 1 certification.
