About The Position

JBS is seeking an hourly Maintenance Team Member. This role involves performing building maintenance duties and specific tasks such as repairing conveyors, gearboxes, or hydraulic systems. The position requires preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, as well as troubleshooting machinery quickly and effectively. Additionally, the role includes maintenance and repair of Rendering equipment, and ensuring all tasks are completed safely and efficiently. The technician will also be involved in IT/Data Maintenance, including supporting computer/network components, programming Cisco Switches, documenting LANs, and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures for site-specific technologies. This role requires a fundamental understanding of VLANs and testing hardware/software modifications before production implementation. The technician will provide hardware and software diagnostics, manage technology projects, and support production floor computer systems and printer functions. Facilities maintenance duties such as mowing, trimming, painting, switcher truck maintenance, boilers, pumps, gates, storage racks, and storm water maintenance are also part of the responsibilities. The work environment may include cold and/or hot temperatures.

Requirements

Resume Required for this position. Applicants will not be considered without a resume.
Experienced and knowledgeable in high-speed manufacturing and packaging equipment, including hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, valves, cylinders, case formers, labeling equipment, fillers, and conveyors.
Knowledge of welding (S/S, Mig, Tig) is a plus.
Climbing, including ladders, lifting, working with a variety of hand and power tools, shop machines, and tools.
Previous maintenance experience with (Preferred) 480 Volts Control Circuitry PLC Electrical Multi Meter IT/Data Maintenance/PC Maintenance

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of welding (S/S, Mig, Tig) is a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform building maintenance duties and specific tasks such as repairing conveyors, gearboxes, or hydraulic systems as assigned by the supervisor
Preventive maintenance and repairs on the mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Troubleshoot machinery quickly and effectively
Preventive maintenance and repairs to Rendering equipment, such as conveyors, gearboxes, augers, and pumps
Complete all tasks in the safest and most efficient manner
Day-to-day maintenance and repair of equipment.
Perform Labeling and Tagging of systems and/or checks for verifications
Troubleshoot and repair high-speed food processing and packaging equipment
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical problems on production equipment
Comply with all safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
Support and manage all computer/network components, including servers, switches, cabling, and desktop systems at assigned locations
Program Cisco Switches for Local Area Network
Document Local Area Network at assigned location(s)
Document and maintain “Standard Operating Procedures” for site-specific technologies in use at the facility.
Work with end users and propose new hardware and software solutions to support the business.
Test all hardware and software modifications before they are introduced into production.
Provide hardware and software diagnostics for network, hardware, and software issues.
Manage technology projects in compliance with IT standards
Provide hardware and network support for “Production Floor” computer systems.
Supporting all printer functions at assigned locations
Perform related tasks as required

Facilities Maintenance to include: mowing, trimming, painting, switcher truck maintenance, boilers, pumps, gates, storage racks, and storm water maintenance.
