The Maintenance Technician I performs entry-level mechanical, preventative maintenance, repair, inspection, and support duties related to the operation and maintenance of the Wastewater Treatment Facility, pumping stations, lift stations, stormwater systems, combined sewer overflow (CSO) facilities, and associated infrastructure and equipment. The Maintenance Technician I works under the direction of higher-level maintenance personnel and management staff while learning industrial maintenance practices, wastewater equipment systems, safety procedures, and maintenance operations necessary to support safe, efficient, and reliable facility operations. The Maintenance Technician I may be required to assist with operations, maintenance, emergency response, stormwater operations, combined sewer overflow (CSO) activities, public works support activities, and other City or Project-related functions associated with the operation and maintenance agreement between the Company and the City of Fall River.
