About The Position
At Avery Dennison, we don't just patch equipment; we solve for the future. We are looking for a Maintenance Technician with a "Solutions Architect" mindset—someone who uses technical curiosity to diagnose root causes and keep our Performance Tapes facility running at peak performance.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience OR a High School Diploma/GED with 3+ years of relevant manufacturing work.
- Proven expertise in Electrical systems and PLC troubleshooting/repair.
Nice To Haves
- Associate Degree in Manufacturing, Electrical disciplines, or equivalent.
- AutoCAD proficiency.
- Advanced PLC root-cause diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work independently and pivot quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with production teams and explain technical issues clearly.
Responsibilities
- Use detailed drawings, schematics, and precision tools to locate and fix mechanical failures in pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machinery.
- Install and troubleshoot complex electrical systems, including motors, switchboards, automated controls, and circuit breakers.
- Utilize PLCs to identify faults in automated lines and implement corrective measures.
- Follow strict maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and assist engineers in identifying long-term process improvements.
- Maintain a clean, OSHA-compliant workspace.
- Other tasks as assigned by your supervisor.
