About The Position

The Maintenance Technician supports safe, efficient, and reliable operations at Conagra Brands’ manufacturing plant in Menomonie, Wisconsin. Reporting to the Department Manager, the technician performs maintenance that supports production, food safety, and quality in a safety-focused manufacturing environment. The role works a 12-hour night-shift rotation from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., alternating between four-shift and three-shift weeks. The stated base rate is $33.70 per hour, plus a $0.50 shift differential, with more than $5 per hour potentially available through the Incentive Pay program. Pay is weekly on Fridays. Daily and weekly overtime eligibility, eligible Sunday double time, and the option to cash out unused vacation hours are also noted.

Requirements

Mechanical and electrical experience appropriate for general maintenance work.
Experience working in a production or manufacturing environment.
Strong collaboration skills with maintenance, production, and leadership teams.
Ability to prioritize work and perform tasks safely and efficiently.
Willingness to work across varying levels of maintenance complexity.

Responsibilities

Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, plumbing, layout, and fabrication maintenance work.
Repair equipment and perform preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
Troubleshoot issues, analyze problems, and implement corrective actions while following SQF procedures.
Use tools, machines, and diagnostic equipment, including machine shop and fabrication equipment.
Follow plant and department safety rules, administrative processes, and documentation procedures.
Support other maintenance team members and complete additional duties as assigned.
Provide production coverage support as needed.
Maintain responsibility for food safety and quality.
Follow direction provided by Crew Coordinators.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
