About The Position

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our production facility by troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial machinery and building systems. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with mechanical and/or electrical experience who enjoys solving problems and keeping operations running.

Requirements

  • Experience with industrial maintenance, manufacturing, or mechanical repair
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems
  • Familiarity with tools like voltmeters, ohmmeters, etc.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physical environment
  • Willingness to work overtime and support emergency repairs when needed
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass background check and DOT physical

Nice To Haves

  • 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience
  • Experience in printing, packaging, or manufacturing environments
  • Trade school or coursework in electrical, hydraulics, or pneumatics
  • Knowledge of PLC systems

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment (presses, bindery, mailing, packaging systems)
  • Diagnose and fix electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical issues
  • Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime
  • Maintain facility systems (plumbing, compressors, chillers, etc.)
  • Assist with machine setup and installation
  • Help develop and manage spare parts inventory
  • Support building maintenance (painting, snow removal, general upkeep)
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and safety procedures (lockout/tagout, etc.)
  • Work with team members and outside contractors as needed
