About The Position
The Maintenance Technician maintains the interior and exterior of community buildings and grounds to keep them in good condition and ensure public and private living areas meet expectations in accordance with current federal, state, and local regulations and company policies. The role includes scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, general maintenance projects, and responding to requests from community directors and residents. It also involves maintaining positive communication with local fire marshals, building inspectors, and other authorities governing the community.
Responsibilities
- Maintain scheduled and unscheduled maintenance for HVAC, elevators, fire and sprinkler equipment, generators, landscaping, kitchen equipment, and emergency pull-cord equipment.
- Perform general maintenance projects as scheduled or assigned.
- Respond to maintenance requests from community directors and residents in private rooms and public living areas.
- Maintain the interior and exterior of community buildings and grounds in accordance with applicable regulations and company policies.
- Maintain positive communication with local fire marshals, building inspectors, and other jurisdictions governing the community.
