About The Position

Killam Apartment REIT is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a 5-month term position in Dartmouth, NS, ending on or before December 31, 2026. This role is within a growth-oriented organization and is suitable for a team player with a proven ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Ability to work as part of a team, and also under minimal supervision
• Effective, proven skills and experience
• Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
• Knowledge of plumbing, minor electrical, carpentry, etc.

Nice To Haves

• Renovations experience is considered an asset
• Plumbing, electrical, or HVAC experience is considered an asset

Responsibilities

• Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, molding and hardware
• Maintain, repair and renovate residences
• General maintenance and painting
• All other duties as required
