Maintenance Technician
About The Position
INH Properties is seeking a part-time, mid-level experienced Maintenance Technician to join their team. This role is crucial in ensuring the apartment community is a great place to live. The technician will be responsible for various maintenance tasks, grounds upkeep, interior painting, janitorial duties, and responding to work orders promptly. They will also communicate professionally with residents and collaborate with the team to ensure apartments are ready for move-ins and the community is maintained to the highest standard. The role involves creating a great living environment for residents and maintaining common areas.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- A valid Driver's License
- Time Management skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Dry walling including painting and carpentry
- Working knowledge of plumbing
- Working knowledge of electrical including outlets, switches and light fixtures
Nice To Haves
- Experience in multi-family housing
- Boilers knowledge is strongly preferred
- Boilers License or a willingness to get one
- HVAC certification strongly preferred
- CPO Certified or willingness to get certified
- Chiller knowledge
Responsibilities
- Miscellaneous Maintenance & Carpentry
- Grounds upkeep and snow removal
- Interior painting
- Janitorial to keep our community looking impeccable
- Responding to work orders in a timely manner
- Communicating professionally with residents when fulfilling maintenance requests
- Work as a team to ensure apartments are ready for all move-ins and maintain our communities to the highest standard
- All other duties required to create a great living environment for our residents
- Cleaning/Maintaining common areas
