About The Position

Perricone Juices (aka Perricone Farms), a leading citrus juice supplier located in Fort Pierce, FL, is looking to hire a Maintenance Technician to join their team. This is a long-term, consistent, full-time/year-round employment opportunity. The role is a fast-paced, physical position that keeps you active with an above-average benefits package. The pay rate is competitive and depends on the shift. The first shift is Sunday - Thursday from 4 am to 12:30 pm.

Requirements

High school diploma
Minimum of 5 years of related experience
Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
Able to withstand cold and non-climate-controlled environment
Flexibility to work different job functions and as well as overtime
Successfully pass pre-employment screenings including a drug screen

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled PMs as per documented instructions and respond to service calls in a timely fashion
Cleans work area, tools, and equipment, recognizing waste and recommend initiatives for elimination and reduction
Perform repair work and build maintenance, such as changing light bulbs for the facility, greasing and oiling equipment and replacing pumps and valves on all utility systems
Assists in repairing and maintaining manufacturing machinery, equipment, physical structures, plumbing, and electrical systems of industrial establishment
Weld all types of commonly used metals and alloys of various sizes, shapes and thickness
Maintain and repair utility systems, such as HVAC, plant compressed air equipment and boiler plant equipment
Comply with all Plant, State and Federal OSHA, EPA, FDA, HACCP, GMPs, safety procedures, and SQF regulations.
Responsible for Non-GMO SGS Supply Chain Standards.
