About The Position

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for diagnosing and repairing malfunctioning mechanical/electrical equipment. This role also involves performing minor building repairs, executing preventive maintenance procedures, and assisting with outage planning. The position operates in close proximity to fast-moving, heavy automated equipment, requiring clear communication and strict adherence to safety protocols.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED required with vocational training highly preferred
One to five years mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills in an industrial work setting.
Pneumatic & basic hydraulic knowledge preferred
Ability to immediately understand and react to verbal safety commands, audio alarms, and written hazard alerts in English in a Manufacturing setting.
Proficient in English to accurately read, interpret, and execute equipment lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) protocols and machine operation manuals.
Sufficient English verbal skills to clearly and instantly report machine malfunctions, near-misses, or unsafe floor conditions to supervisors and team members.
Ability to prioritize tasks and follow specified procedures
Will need to be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs unassisted
Ability to work all shifts and call ins if needed
