About The Position

Kane Realty Corporation is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician for Revolution Mill in Greensboro, North Carolina. The position is part of a team responsible for overall property maintenance and day-to-day maintenance operations in a multi-family community. The technician performs repairs and preventative maintenance, prepares units for new residents, maintains HVAC systems, and supports grounds and pool maintenance. The role includes pre-scheduled 24-hour emergency maintenance responsibilities and requires availability to work some weekends.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Previous maintenance experience in multi-family housing.
HVAC certification (CFC certification).
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal history check and drug screen.
Ability to work some weekends.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
Professional and courteous manner when interacting with residents, visitors, contractors, and fellow employees.

Responsibilities

Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, and painting work.
Repair and treat structures and items such as showers, sinks, appliances, doors, cabinets, walls, and building exteriors.
Prepare units for new move-ins.
Maintain, repair, and replace HVAC systems.
Provide 24-hour emergency maintenance coverage at pre-scheduled times.
Perform preventative maintenance activities.
Complete grounds work, including grounds pickup, sweeping, and light landscaping.
Perform pool maintenance.
Coordinate special projects as directed by the maintenance supervisor or property manager.
Maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors, contractors, and fellow employees.
Follow oral and written instructions and handle multiple tasks with attention to detail.
