About The Position

JLL is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support operations at their Grove City, Ohio location. This role is crucial for ensuring equipment reliability and maintaining the production environment. The position requires a versatile skillset to handle various maintenance tasks, including equipment upkeep and warehouse improvements. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for keeping automated systems running smoothly, supporting production goals, and maintaining a safe and efficient facility.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience with conveyors, case sealers, labelers, and printers
  • 2+ years of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including night shift (Sunday-Thursday, 6:00 PM - 2:30 AM), weekends, and holidays
  • Physical capability to lift up to 49 pounds, perform repetitive bending, crouching, kneeling, reaching, and standing/walking throughout shift
  • Ability to work in varying conditions including small spaces, dust, fumes, temperature fluctuations, noise, and concrete floors
  • Manual dexterity for eye/hand coordination, foot pedals, and precision tasks (picking, pinching, holding, grasping)

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of experience with automated conveyors, controls, and electrical wiring
  • 3+ years conducting preventative maintenance programs and reading blueprints/schematics
  • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
  • 3+ years of work order management and vendor coordination
  • Knowledge of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safety standards per Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) requirements

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and troubleshoot conveyors, case sealers, labelers, and printers to ensure continuous production operations.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on automated systems and Material Handling Equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Manage work orders efficiently and coordinate with vendors when specialized support is required.
  • Interpret blueprints and schematics for equipment maintenance, repairs, and facility improvements.
  • Implement and enforce safety standards for all Material Handling Equipment in accordance with OEM requirements.
  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and adapt to changing priorities throughout the shift.
  • Utilize various tools and equipment while working in diverse facility conditions to maintain operational excellence.
