About The Position

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician for a role at our clients managed apartment complex, Pleasant Village Apartments, located in Fresno, CA. Our client manages approximately 2500 units of conventional and affordable multifamily housing throughout the Unites States and Puerto Rico. A Maintenance Technician conducts general maintenance and repairs, and is responsible for the upkeep of the facility. Duties include completing work orders, inspecting and maintaining the physical aspects of the property and units, maintaining inventory, and scheduling and completing repairs.

Requirements

• At least one year of previous experience in maintenance or other related fields
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License and auto insurance
• Ability to handle physical workload, and familiarity with hand-held tools and equipment
• Maintenance Technician: 1 year (Required)
• Ability to Commute: Fresno, CA 93705 (Required)

Nice To Haves

• Prior maintenance experience in Multi-Family Housing is a plus
• Having own vehicle (truck preferred) and maintenance tools is a plus
• Skills in electrical, carpentry, plumbing, painting and drywall are a plus
• English/Spanish bilingual is a plus
• HVAC Certification is a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform unit turnovers, including all preparation work
• Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion
• Estimate time and extent of repairs
• Conducting unit inspections
• Maintain a clean property
• Perform routine preventive maintenance
• Maintain material and supply inventory and equipment
• Oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary
• Additional duties as assigned verbally or in writing
