About The Position

Legacy Village is hiring a Maintenance Technician for its 212-unit property in Springfield, TN. This community is conveniently located off Highway 41, close to Legacy Golf Course. The Maintenance Technician will play a key role in providing an outstanding living experience for residents by taking ownership of general upkeep, unit turns, and preventative maintenance.

Requirements

2+ years of general maintenance experience, residential maintenance experience preferred.
EPA universal license for HVAC required (must be willing to obtain EPA within 90 days if not already certified).
Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment, plumbing systems, electrical systems, all major appliances including washer and dryer.
Experience with turnover “make-ready” of apartments.
High school diploma or GED.
Basic computer proficiency preferred.

Nice To Haves

CPO license preferred.

Deliver timely, high-quality results for resident work requests and day-to-day community maintenance needs.
Keep grounds, amenities, and common areas above quality standards, ensuring a welcoming environment.
Identify and resolve potential safety or upkeep issues.
Execute seamless make-readies, repairs, and final checks for new residents.
Provide reliable emergency support on a rotating on-call schedule.
Champion a culture of safety by following all industry procedures.
