About The Position
The Coca-Cola Company is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic responsible for the overall upkeep, troubleshooting, preventative care, and repair of mechanical systems and manufacturing equipment. This role resolves day-to-day technical problems on production lines, ensures equipment and machinery compliance with production procedures and process specifications, and maintains machinery/instruments for maximum reliability.
Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years' Experience, Vocational and/or Technical Training or Equivalent Work Experience
- High School Diploma, General Education or Equivalent
- Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis and must not require The Coca-Cola Company's sponsorship to continue to work legally in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Continuously monitor and physically inspect production equipment
- Diagnose problems when machinery malfunctions
- Perform repairs, minor adjustments, and overhauls on plant equipment and document the encountered problems
- Perform preventative maintenance related work as required
- Dismantle and reassemble machines to fit or replace necessary parts
- Conduct electrical repairs (i.e., wiring)
- Rebuild/ fabrication of equipment
- Welding stainless steel (tubing, rods) and black iron
- Complete work orders
- Maintain logs and records
- Comply with GMP Policies and procedures
- Comply with Safety policies and procedures
- Comply with all Integrated Management System policies and procedures
