About The Position
The Maintenance Technician role at Frisco Embassy Suites is a full-time position focused on performing scheduled preventative maintenance tasks, completing and documenting work orders, and troubleshooting and repairing various hotel systems and equipment. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of the hotel facilities, including guest rooms, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, pool systems, furniture, fixtures, and hotel equipment. The technician will also be responsible for seasonal landscaping, groundskeeping, and trash removal, operating and maintaining hand tools and power equipment.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months of general maintenance experience required
- Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally
- Ability to bend, squat, walk, and stand for extended periods
Nice To Haves
- Hotel maintenance experience preferred
- HVAC, electrical, or plumbing certification a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks, including guest room care
- Complete and document guest and associate work orders
- Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems
- Maintain, clean, and adjust pool systems and chemicals
- Repair furniture, fixtures, and hotel equipment such as laundry, kitchen, and small appliances
- Perform seasonal landscaping, groundskeeping, and trash removal duties
- Operate and maintain hand tools and power equipment
