Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Valid South Carolina Driver’s license with a good driving record.
1 year of experience in maintenance at commercial facilities, school system, retirement communities, or hotels in all disciplines such as plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, refrigeration, ground maintenance, masonry and general maintenance.
Reasonable computer skills in word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.

Nice To Haves

HVAC Universal certification a plus.

Responsibilities

Performing, coordinating, and supervising various aspects of general and preventive maintenance to protect and maintain buildings, equipment, utility and electrical systems.
Troubleshooting fire alarm and sprinkler systems and responding to emergency calls.
Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing various plumbing problems to include toilet plunging, snaking, or replacements of plumbing parts, piping, etc.
Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing electrical and appliance problems such as resetting breakers and GFCI receptacles, changing out receptacles, lighting, fans, stoves, refrigerators, washing machines, dryers, disposals, etc.
Basic troubleshooting of air conditioning systems and diagnosis of problems and changing of filters, cleaning coils, etc.
Maintenance of tools and equipment.
Moving and assembling furniture.
Sheet rock repair and painting.
Setup landscape irrigation systems.
