About The Position

Mission Linen Supply is hiring an experienced Maintenance Technician for an in-plant role maintaining industrial laundry equipment and plant systems. The technician repairs, maintains, installs, and troubleshoots equipment such as washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyor systems, and boilers. The role includes preventive maintenance, boiler chemical testing and chemistry adjustments, addressing safety concerns, and keeping maintenance records. Mission Linen Supply offers additional training in steam boiler, electrical, pneumatic, schematic, maintenance, welding, and plumbing work for candidates who need it.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• At least 2 years of maintenance engineering experience.
• Knowledge of machinery, electricity, electronics, plumbing, welding, and boiler applications.
• Experience with mechanical troubleshooting, hydraulics, pneumatics, and reading repair manuals and schematics.
• Ability to stand or move through the plant throughout the day, stoop, pull, push, and work in cramped areas.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance to keep plant machinery operating smoothly.
• Complete morning start-up and evening shutdown of equipment, including the boiler, air compressor, power, pumps, and valves.
• Maintain lint traps, shaker screen barrels, oil levels, grease fittings, and water levels.
• Complete general and basic machinery repairs.
• Follow manufacturers’ recommended maintenance schedules and document the work.
• Identify and report major machinery repairs that need to be completed.
• Repair, maintain, install, and troubleshoot industrial equipment and varied mechanical and electrical systems.
• Perform boiler chemical testing and chemistry adjustments, resolve safety concerns, and prepare maintenance records.
