Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift
About The Position
Labelink is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to help produce high-quality label products by keeping equipment and the facility operating efficiently. The position performs preventative maintenance, follows workplace safety requirements, learns and uses maintenance-management software, and troubleshoots and repairs printing-press components as needed. The regular schedule is Monday through Thursday, 2:20 p.m. to 12:20 a.m., with no rotating shifts. Initial training takes place on first shift, Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Voluntary overtime is available, but mandatory overtime is not required. Starting pay is $26.00 per hour, depending on experience. Labelink offers performance-based raises, bonus opportunities, and advancement opportunities within its manufacturing organization. Requirements
- Understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Experience with electrically powered printing presses and their components.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to OSHA standards.
- Reliable and consistent work ethic, especially in performing scheduled maintenance.
- Openness to learning new tools and technologies, including maintenance management software.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular preventative maintenance to keep equipment and the facility running efficiently.
- Follow safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout and OSHA 1910 guidelines.
- Learn and use maintenance software such as Micro-Main CMMS to manage tasks and maintenance records.
- Troubleshoot and repair components on printing presses as needed.
