About The Position
Looking for a flexible part-time role with a dependable schedule and a supportive team? Vetra Providence in Smyrna, TN is seeking a Part-Time Maintenance Technician to help maintain our community and deliver excellent service to our residents. This is a great opportunity for someone with maintenance experience who values work-life balance while staying active in a hands-on role.
Requirements
- Previous maintenance experience (multifamily preferred)
- Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Strong work ethic and dependability
- Ability to lift 25 lbs and climb stairs/ladders as needed
- Basic tools and reliable transportation
Nice To Haves
- EPA Certification is a plus (not required)
Responsibilities
- Complete general maintenance and repairs (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.)
- Respond to service requests/work orders in a timely manner
- Assist with apartment turns (make-readies) and unit preparation
- Maintain curb appeal, cleanliness, and overall community appearance
- Support preventative maintenance and seasonal upkeep
- Follow safety standards and company procedures
