About The Position

Four Hands is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. This role is crucial for ensuring the safety, cleanliness, functionality, and overall maintenance of company facilities. The Maintenance Technician will provide hands-on support for daily facility operations, perform routine maintenance and repairs, and travel between company locations as needed to address facility and operational requirements. The ideal candidate is dependable, proactive, safety-conscious, and capable of working independently on various maintenance and facility tasks.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license required and ability to safely drive between company facilities as needed to support maintenance and operational needs.
2+ years of experience in facilities maintenance, building maintenance, janitorial, or general handyman work.
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, and minor equipment repairs.
Comfortable operating maintenance equipment such as floor scrubbers, compactors, and hand/power tools.
Able to safely lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work including standing, bending, climbing ladders, and working indoors and outdoors.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and report maintenance or safety concerns proactively.
Organized and dependable, with the ability to manage supplies and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
Committed to workplace safety and following OSHA and company safety practices.
Team-oriented with a positive attitude and a willingness to support a variety of facility and operational needs.

Responsibilities

Provide hands-on support for operational needs, including facility upkeep and maintenance.
Travel between company facilities as needed to provide maintenance, repair, and operational support.
Manage inventory for parts and supplies necessary for repairs and improvements.
Maintain cleanliness of facility through sweeping, mopping, dusting, yard work, and building maintenance.
Operate equipment such as floor scrubbers and compactors for trash and scrap removal.
Contribute to safety initiatives, including emergency preparedness and safety committees.
Identify and report maintenance issues, spills, or hazardous conditions promptly.
Restock cleaning supplies in common areas, bathrooms, and breakrooms as needed.
Ensure proper care and maintenance of tools and equipment.
Contribute to continuous improvement of workplace safety and practices.
Other duties as assigned, in accordance with training and qualifications.
