Requirements

  • A strong foundation from a trade or technical school is beneficial
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience as a maintenance technician or mechanic, or a minimum of 3 years of direct work experience
  • An adequate set of tools is essential for performing daily job tasks
  • Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot independently and carry out repairs efficiently to maintain our facilities
  • Strong communication skills are necessary to address maintenance-related work orders promptly and effectively
  • A valid Ohio driver's license with 4 points or less is required
  • An operable vehicle and proof of insurance
  • Must be capable of participating in an on-call rotation to respond to urgent maintenance needs as they arise

Nice To Haves

  • Trade and/or technical school training paired with at least 2 years of relevant work experience as a maintenance technician or mechanic preferred
  • Or 3 years of relevant maintenance technician or mechanic work experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Conducting routine inspections
  • Troubleshooting issues
  • Performing preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment
  • Repairing plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
  • Ensuring that all areas meet safety and quality standards
  • Collaborating closely with team members
  • Communicating regularly with staff to address any maintenance requests promptly
  • Responding to urgent maintenance needs as they arise
