About The Position

Adler Pelzer Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Midnight Shift in Port Huron, MI. This role is crucial for maintaining equipment and machinery in manufacturing to achieve production, inventory, and operating expense objectives. The technician will inspect and repair machinery based on operating parameters, engineering principles, and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Must be able to read and comprehend work instructions.
• Required to adhere to applicable IATF 16949 requirements.
• Required to adhere to applicable ISO 14001 requirements.
• Required to adhere to all Environmental Health and Safety Regulations.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Midnight Shift.
• Experience in the automotive industry.
• Experience with Acoustic and Soft Trim products.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes mechanical and operational problems on assigned equipment and plans for and takes corrective action.
• Makes necessary corrections and runs adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality.
• Tests newly installed or refurbished machines and equipment to ensure fulfillment to specification and safety.
• Performs preventive maintenance on equipment that is not scheduled for manufacturing to reduce downtime.
• Notifies supervisor of recurring equipment malfunctions and of corrective action taken, and of quality problems or supplies needed.
• Maintains positive communications among other shifts and departments to ensure consistent information.
• Adheres to plant safety requirements as established by company policy.
• Works with operators as needed to support production.
• Accepts assignments and other responsibilities as required in support of team objectives.
• Adheres to applicable IATF 16949 requirements.
• Adheres to applicable ISO 14001 requirements.
• Adheres to all Environmental Health and Safety Regulations.
• Reads and comprehends work instructions.
• Works necessary overtime and off-shifts.
• Performs other tasks as required by supervisor.
