About The Position
Repair and maintain production machinery and building systems so the line does not stop.
Requirements
- Three or more years in industrial maintenance or an equivalent trade.
- Mechanical and basic electrical troubleshooting.
- Able to read a schematic and a parts diagram.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with industrial sewing machines, presses or legacy manufacturing equipment.
- Welding or fabrication capability.
Responsibilities
- Execute the preventive maintenance schedule.
- Log every task, every part and every finding.
- Respond to line-down calls and get the machine running again.
- Perform mechanical repair, adjustment, alignment and lubrication on stitching, lasting, bottoming and finishing equipment.
- Support building systems: air, dust collection, ventilation, lighting and electrical.
- Follow and enforce lockout/tagout on every job, without exception.
- Flag any machine trending toward failure before it fails.
