About The Position
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to support a fast-paced manufacturing operation. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production and facility equipment while ensuring safety, efficiency, and minimal downtime. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong attendance, accountability, and a proactive approach to maintenance and problem-solving.
Requirements
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions during breakdowns
- Experience with multi-craft maintenance (mechanical and electrical preferred)
- Willingness to learn and expand technical skillsets
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate across departments
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and production demands

Nice To Haves
- Manufacturing or industrial maintenance experience
- Experience with PLCs and automated equipment
- Familiarity with GMP and safety compliance standards
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Diagnose equipment issues and implement timely, effective solutions
- Perform basic electrical work, including motors, drives, sensors, and control systems
- Complete mechanical repairs on pumps, conveyors, valves, gearboxes, and related equipment
- Assist with PLC troubleshooting
- Accurately document maintenance activities and work orders
- Support equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and proper PPE usage
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Communicate effectively with operations and leadership regarding equipment status and repairs
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and support off-shift or after-hours needs as required
- Maintain consistent and dependable attendance
- Arrive on time and remain on-site for scheduled shifts
- Be available for overtime or call-ins based on business needs
- Demonstrate accountability by completing tasks thoroughly and following through on repairs
- Operate with urgency and ownership in maintaining plant performance and safety
