About The Position

Aramark Facilities Management is hiring a Maintenance Technician to support multiple facility locations. This is a high-skill, hands-on role responsible for maintaining and repairing critical building systems including HVAC, plumbing, dock equipment, and general facility infrastructure. You will troubleshoot issues, perform preventative maintenance, and take ownership of system performance across sites. This role is best suited for a self-sufficient technician who can work independently, manage their workload, and identify opportunities to prevent failures and improve operations.

Requirements

  • Experience in facilities maintenance, industrial maintenance, or building maintenance
  • Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and work independently
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and tablet-based systems
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Ability to travel between locations as needed
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
  • Ability to perform physical work including lifting, climbing, and working in varied environments

Nice To Haves

  • Level 2 HVAC license (or equivalent)
  • Experience with chillers, cooling towers, and commercial systems
  • Experience with dock equipment or industrial environments

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance (PM) and complete work orders across facility systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and building systems
  • Develop and manage maintenance schedules and task lists
  • Identify issues early and recommend solutions to prevent downtime
  • Maintain inventory and order parts as needed
  • Perform routine HVAC maintenance including filters, belts, lubrication, and inspections
  • Troubleshoot common HVAC issues and perform repairs
  • Support systems such as chillers, cooling towers, and high-volume water pumps
  • Repair and maintain commercial plumbing systems including faucets, flush valves, and drains
  • Perform general troubleshooting and fixture replacement
  • Maintain and repair dock doors, roll-up doors, and high-speed doors
  • Service dock systems including dock locks, seals, and restraints
  • Perform inspections, adjustments, and mechanical repairs
  • Conduct monthly fire extinguisher inspections and identify issues
  • Maintain and restock first aid stations
  • Work independently and manage daily workload without direct supervision
  • Coordinate and oversee third-party vendors to ensure quality work
  • Communicate findings and provide recommendations for repairs and improvements

Benefits

  • Compensation: This role pays between $40.00 and $45.00 per hour, based on experience, licensing, and overall technical skill set
