About The Position

The Hiltons on Canyon, a new urban retreat in Boulder, Colorado, is seeking a dependable, hands-on, and motivated Maintenance Technician to join their Engineering / Maintenance team. This role is crucial for maintaining the hotel properties in a safe, clean, and efficient condition. It offers a great opportunity for individuals with experience in hotel, apartment, facilities, construction, or general maintenance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous hotel, apartment, facilities, construction, or general maintenance experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and general repairs
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable using radios, completing work orders, and maintaining logs
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move throughout the property during shifts
• Ability to lift and carry maintenance equipment and supplies as needed
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders when needed

Nice To Haves

• Hotel maintenance experience is preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license preferred for snow removal equipment and company vehicle use

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest and hotel maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
• Perform preventative maintenance and general repairs throughout the hotel
• Assist with basic plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC, and equipment troubleshooting
• Help maintain guest rooms, public spaces, kitchen, laundry, and back-of-house areas
• Complete daily work orders and document repairs completed
• Perform routine property walks to ensure the hotel remains safe and well maintained
• Communicate with team members by radio throughout the shift
• Respond appropriately to emergency or safety situations when needed
• Maintain clean and organized work areas
• Report unsafe conditions or repair concerns to leadership
