About The Position

The Maintenance Technician will provide assistance in all aspects of maintenance such as welding, electrical, hydraulics and pneumatics. This role is responsible for maintenance and repair tasks at the plant, including preventative maintenance and repair tasks on mobile equipment, furnaces, power supplies, and plant operational equipment and processes. The technician will also address repairs of unscheduled equipment issues causing downtime and complete work orders & PM paperwork. Regular and timely attendance is an expectation of the position, and adherence to 5S foundations for deploying lean production tools and processes is required.

Requirements

  • Industrial maintenance or millwright or welding experience within other manufacturing facilities
  • Follow all safety rules, regulations and policies of the company.
  • Self-starter, dependable and work well with other team members.
  • Exerting up to fifty (50) pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to twenty-five (25) pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
  • ability to operate machinery and determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned including to make general observations of facilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift experience is preferred but not required.
