Requirements

  • Minimum of three years in a manufacturing or facilities maintenance role, with hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repair.
  • Ability to perform scheduled preventative maintenance, helping to minimize equipment downtime and extend machinery lifespan.
  • Strong skills in diagnosing and resolving complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues efficiently to reduce downtime.
  • Basic welding and metal fabrication skills can be useful for repairing or modifying equipment as needed.
  • Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, and CNC machinery is preferred.
  • Proficient in working with 110V, 220V, and 480V systems, including both single-phase and three-phase wiring.
  • Physically capable of lifting, pushing, pulling, and positioning heavy components and equipment safely.
  • Able to perform tasks independently and collaborate effectively with team members when needed.
  • Follow all safety protocols, including consistent use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required for tasks.
  • Flexibility to work scheduled hours, including overtime, and adhere to company timekeeping and policy standards.
  • Comfortable working for an entire shift in a fast-paced environment in hot, cold, or variable temperature settings as required.
  • Professional and respectful communication with all levels of Management, Supervisors, and team members.
  • Consistent reliability and attention to detail in all aspects of maintenance work.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose equipment and machinery issues to identify the root cause of failures, ensuring timely repairs and minimal downtime.
  • Repair machinery and equipment as needed, and perform scheduled preventative maintenance to extend equipment lifespan and prevent breakdowns.
  • Maintain facilities equipment, tools, and the work area in a clean and orderly condition to promote efficiency and safety.
  • Conduct maintenance on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems across corporate and manufacturing facilities.
  • Follow all safety protocols, including lockout and tagout procedures, to maintain a secure work environment.
  • Accurately document all repairs, maintenance tasks, and parts used to maintain comprehensive records and track equipment history.
  • Assist in other areas or departments as assigned to support overall production and facility needs.
