We are looking for a Part Time Maintenance Technician to assist with our multi-family residential buildings in Nanaimo, BC. with a need for occasional travel to other buildings in Duncan, BC and Victoria, BC. Requirements
- Ability to use physical exertion that includes lifting, carrying, climbing ladders and moving materials
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a results-oriented approach
- Ability to think creatively when problem solving, proactively adapting to challenges
- Ability to work well independently
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build positive relationships and to work well in a team environment
Nice To Haves
- Two years of experience in the property management and/or construction industry would be an asset
Responsibilities
- Painting, drywall patching, mudding, and taping
- Detecting faulty operations, defective materials, and reporting deficiencies
- Maintain building exterior including basic ground maintenance
- Perform repairs to windows, blinds, doors, switches, plugs, appliances, fixtures, and carpet tile replacement
- Diagnosis and repair plumbing, heating, and electrical problems

- competitive hourly wage based on experience of $26.00 to $30.00 per hour
