Cactus Wellhead - Maintenance Technician- Nights
About The Position
Responsible for the maintenance functions and repairs associated with equipment/machines located in the Calibrated Tool and Equipment Tool Crib. This role involves performing a wide variety of highly skilled maintenance, as well as preventative and predictive maintenance work on shop machines and equipment. The technician will interpret complex maintenance manuals, sketches, drawings, and specifications to determine repair and troubleshooting procedures. Responsibilities include disassembling, adjusting, repairing, replacing, and proving out maintenance operations on a diversified line of work, including hydraulics, electronics, pneumatics, mechanical systems, and other machine repair. The position also involves performing electrical repairs, assisting with equipment moving and installation, and moving/storing hazardous materials according to procedures. The technician will follow lockout tag out procedures and maintain and monitor the Calibrated Tool and Equipment Tool Crib, proceeding with minimal supervision.
Requirements
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED): or minimum 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Working knowledge of Cactus Wellhead Products; Customer Property, Repair and Remanufacture; Customer Relationships and Networking; Equipment Troubleshooting of Cactus Wellhead and Other EOM Equipment; Infrastructure and Asset Management; Preparing and Evaluating Budgets
- Advanced computer skills
- Advanced Language skills, Mathematical skills and time management ability
- Must be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds regularly
- Stand and walk for extended periods (up to 12 hours per shift)
- Climb stairs and ladders
- Bend, stoop, kneel, and reach
- Work in confined spaces when required
- Operate heavy equipment and power tools
- Perform repetitive movements
- Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures
