About The Position

Cerelia Bakery Canada is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join their facility in Mississauga, ON. This role is critical in delivering products to customers. Requirements

3+ years of experience in the food industry production lines, preferably cookie or biscuit production lines
High threshold for heat in a manufacturing environment
Ability to work in a hot/cold environment
Read/Fill out Paperwork

Responsibilities

Carry out preventative maintenance.
Maintain day-to-day operations.
Assume responsibility for maintaining the physical activities of various assets of the Company including the general maintenance and upkeep of equipment and machinery to minimize production down time.
Maintain electrical, mechanical, and other related systems.
Work as a team member with minimal supervision.
Follow all safety and food safety procedures.
Contribute to the resolution of system and equipment breakdowns and general maintenance tasks such as troubleshooting and equipment modification.
Troubleshoot process and production issues sufficient to facilitate repairs.
Complete documentation related to preventative maintenance, repairs, safety, inventory and process/procedures.
Perform maintenance and repair of production line and Packaging equipment.
Utilize welding, fabrication, pneumatics and hydraulic skills for equipment repair.
Adhere to all policies, procedures and programs of the company (GMP, Quality, Food Safety, Health & Safety etc) at all times.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
