About The Position

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the upkeep and repair of facilities, equipment, and machinery, playing a vital role in ensuring operational excellence and safety across our properties. Your expertise will directly contribute to minimizing equipment downtime and maintaining the structural and operational integrity of our facilities. You will perform routine inspections, troubleshoot malfunctions, execute preventive maintenance, and handle repairs across various trades. Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in building maintenance, industrial operations, or a related trade
  • Strong working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems
  • Physical ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), climb ladders, stand for long periods, and work in varying environments
  • Strong deductive reasoning and critical thinking skills to isolate root causes of machinery and facility failures
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple work orders efficiently
  • Commitment to safety protocols and compliance with OSHA guidelines and environmental regulations
  • Ability to work safely at heights using ladders and elevated platforms in accordance with safety regulations

Nice To Haves

  • HVAC Universal/Type II certification
  • EPA certification
  • Pool Operator credentials
  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
  • Previous experience in commercial or industrial facility maintenance

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, diagnosing root causes and implementing effective solutions
  • Execute scheduled preventive maintenance on equipment to prevent unexpected breakdowns and extend the lifespan of facility assets
  • Perform general physical repairs and facility upkeep, including carpentry, drywall fixing, painting, and basic structural maintenance
  • Prioritize, track, and complete service requests through work order management systems while documenting labor hours and parts used
  • Ensure all work adheres to local safety standards, OSHA guidelines, and environmental regulations, maintaining a safe work environment
  • Act as the primary responder for urgent facility issues and building-related emergencies
  • Monitor and manage maintenance supplies, tools, and replacement parts inventory, ordering new stock when necessary
