About The Position

PDM US is seeking skilled and dependable Multi-Craft Maintenance Technicians to support the safe and efficient operation of manufacturing equipment and facility systems. This role performs a variety of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and facility systems. The ideal candidate will have broad industrial maintenance experience and a demonstrated strength in at least one of the following specialized trades: HVAC, Pipefitting, Welding/Fabrication, Industrial Electrical.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems independently.
  • Strong understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, gearboxes, motors, and power transmission systems.
  • Ability to safely use maintenance tools, diagnostic equipment, and shop machinery.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, and work in industrial environments.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces when required.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical degree, apprenticeship, or equivalent experience in industrial maintenance preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
  • Candidates should possess strong proficiency in one or more of the following: HVAC, Pipefitting, Welding / Fabrication, Industrial Electrical.
  • Maintain and repair commercial or industrial HVAC equipment.
  • Troubleshoot heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.
  • Install and repair piping systems for air, water, hydraulic, gas, and process applications.
  • Read piping drawings and fabricate piping runs as required.
  • Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
  • Fabricate guards, platforms, brackets, equipment modifications, and structural repairs.
  • Ability to work from drawings and take field measurements.
  • Troubleshoot motors, drives, control circuits, sensors, and PLC-controlled equipment.
  • Read electrical schematics and perform electrical installations and repairs.
  • Experience with Siemens PLCs and industrial automation strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and conveyor systems.
  • Diagnose equipment failures and implement effective repairs to minimize downtime.
  • Install, modify, and improve equipment, machinery, and facility infrastructure.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
  • Assist with machine moves, installations, and continuous improvement projects.
  • Maintain maintenance records and complete work orders accurately.
  • Follow all safety policies, lockout/tagout procedures, and environmental requirements.
  • Support emergency repairs as needed to maintain production operations.
