About The Position

We are looking for a dependable Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing operations by performing routine and emergency maintenance in a metal manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone who values safety, enjoys learning from experienced technicians, and takes pride in maintaining reliable equipment that supports production and quality standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• 2+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in metal manufacturing
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Experience with CNC machinery and preventive maintenance programs
• Willingness to follow instructions, ask questions, and learn from senior staff

Nice To Haves

• Technical training or certifications preferred
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 principles and documentation practices is a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance and respond to equipment breakdowns across CNC machines, presses, and facility systems
• Follow and enforce all company safety policies, including PPE and lockout/tagout procedures
• Work closely with the Maintenance Lead Man for hands-on training and guidance
• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications to improve production efficiency
• Identify and report abnormal equipment conditions discovered during PMs
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, including work completed and parts usage
• Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in compliance with 5S and ISO 9001 standards
