About The Position

Sentry Management is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician/Porter for various locations, specifically for an association in Ocean City, MD. The ideal candidate must live within 30 minutes of Ocean City, MD. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the quality completion of all maintenance tasks and projects at their assigned association. This role involves interaction with colleagues, homeowners, vendors, and the Association Board of Directors.

Requirements

Previous Maintenance experience
Professional, organized, and self-motivated
Ability to work independently with little supervision
Ability to stand, bend, climb, and walk up to 8 hours per day
Ability to safely bend and lift up to 50lbs.
Ability to work in variable weather conditions
General computer skills
Valid license to operate a motor vehicle with a clean driving record

Responsibilities

Performing regular inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure the proper functioning of building systems, such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
Addressing repair requests from residents and promptly resolving issues related to common areas.
Maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of common areas, including outdoor amenities such as the pool.
Coordinating with external vendors, contractors, and service providers for repairs.
Other duties as assigned.
