About The Position

We're looking for a detail-oriented and efficient Maintenance Technician to join our team at Meadow Creek in Boulder, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing building systems and equipment to ensure optimal facility operations. You will work independently and collaboratively to diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and respond promptly to maintenance requests while adhering to all safety protocols and organizational standards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of building systems and equipment
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
  • Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and maintenance manuals
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and compliance standards
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Physical capability to perform maintenance tasks, including lifting, climbing, and working in various environments

  • Experience with building automation systems and controls

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine preventive maintenance inspections on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems to identify potential issues before they become critical
  • Diagnose equipment malfunctions using analytical skills and technical knowledge, then execute repairs efficiently and effectively
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency calls, prioritizing work based on urgency and impact on facility operations
  • Maintain detailed and organized records of all maintenance activities, repairs, parts used, and equipment performance for compliance and tracking purposes
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies
  • Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and equipment servicing
  • Manage inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and replacement parts, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained
  • Troubleshoot complex building systems and equipment, utilizing technical documentation and manufacturer guidelines
  • Perform equipment calibration and testing to verify proper functionality and safety
  • Communicate effectively with facility management and other team members regarding maintenance status and facility needs
