About The Position

Join Clariant as an Industrial E&I Maintenance Technician. Help keep production operations running safely and reliably in a chemical manufacturing environment by installing, calibrating, troubleshooting, and maintaining electrical and instrumentation equipment. The role involves interpreting technical drawings, maintaining measurement devices, valves, and actuators, and ensuring electrical systems meet safety standards. Document maintenance activities and collaborate with the team to support reliable plant operations.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and work from complex instrumentation drawings, including P&IDs, loop sheets, and isometric diagrams.
• Install, calibrate, and maintain measurement devices for flow, pressure, level, and temperature.
• Perform advanced electrical testing and troubleshooting using specialized equipment such as data recording devices and field communicators.
• Work with hazardous-location equipment and ensure proper installation and maintenance according to safety standards.
• Inspect and maintain grounding systems.
• Perform advanced conduit and tubing installation, including complex bends and layouts.
• Troubleshoot and maintain valves and actuators, including electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Record all maintenance activities in SAP.
