Requirements

  • Mechanically inclined with excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Detail-oriented and committed to quality workmanship.
  • Safety-focused and knowledgeable of OSHA standards.
  • A dependable team player with a positive attitude.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment.
  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical diagnostics (required).
  • Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
  • Experience performing preventative maintenance programs.
  • Ability to read and maintain maintenance records and documentation.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with outside contractors is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and facility-related issues.
  • Maintain equipment to minimize downtime and maximize production efficiency.
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify and resolve potential problems before they become major repairs.
  • Assist with repairs and maintenance of HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, overhead doors, dock equipment, and other building infrastructure.
  • Accurately document repairs, preventative maintenance, and equipment service records.
  • Support OSHA compliance and workplace safety initiatives by participating in safety inspections, drills, and audits.
  • Work closely with Production, Quality, Warehouse, and other departments to quickly resolve maintenance issues.
  • Assist with janitorial and facility upkeep responsibilities as needed.
  • Help maintain an organized inventory of maintenance tools, supplies, and spare parts.
  • Perform other maintenance-related duties as assigned.
