About The Position

Northwest Passage is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the performance, reliability, and long-term upkeep of a multi-site campus environment. This role is designed for a high-ownership, hands-on operator who takes pride in their work and can manage both day-to-day maintenance and more complex facility needs. We’re hiring with a long-term view, as anticipated retirements will create opportunities for increased responsibility over time. Our facilities include four campuses (two in Webster, one in Frederic, and a clinic in New Richmond) along with thirteen additional housing units across several buildings, totaling 20+ buildings across residential, program, and housing environments. While this is an individual contributor role, it requires a strong team-first mindset. You will work closely with other maintenance staff, leadership, program teams, and external contractors. Success depends on communication, collaboration, and contributing to a culture of shared responsibility. We’re looking for someone who can identify issues early, take initiative, and deliver high-quality work across a range of maintenance tasks. This role operates in a dynamic environment and where priorities can shift quickly. Flexibility, sound judgment, and the ability to adapt in real time are essential. Schedule: Monday–Friday, daytime hours. Based in Webster 3 days/week and Frederic 2 days/week, with support to other locations as needed. Participation in a shared on‑call rotation for emergency contact is required.

  • 5–7 years of experience in maintenance, construction, or a related field, with demonstrated progression in responsibility

  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues independently
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work across multiple buildings and environments
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
