About The Position
Ag Processing Inc. (AGP) is looking for a motivated, dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team in Aberdeen! In this role, you’ll help maintain facility equipment and complete repairs efficiently while minimizing downtime and supporting production operations.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and understand computer printouts and equipment specifications
- Experience operating forklifts, bobcats, and end-loaders
- Skilled with hand tools, including drills, hammers, screwdrivers, and pliers
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a mechanically related field preferred
Responsibilities
- Monitor, repair, and maintain plumbing, pipefitting, and gearboxes throughout the facility
- Perform welding, torch, and plasma cutting to complete repairs
- Complete daily paperwork, equipment inspections, and locate parts for departments as needed
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and complete repairs when appropriate
- Maintain plant sanitation standards
- Perform additional duties as assigned
