About The Position

AHEPA Senior Living is a mission-driven organization focused on serving residents, their families, and the communities in which it operates. The part-time temporary Maintenance Technician provides services to the housing community by maintaining clean, orderly property; performing janitorial duties as needed; making necessary repairs; ensuring systems and equipment are in good working order; and routinely inspecting the property to evaluate its physical condition. The position is 20 hours per week.

Requirements

High school diploma or higher education.
Technical school education or equivalent maintenance, janitorial, or groundskeeping experience.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Computer and technical skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Ability to be flexible and receptive to a diverse population.
Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

Maintenance crafts, janitorial, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, drywall repair, painting, and HVAC skills.

Responsibilities

Maintain a clean and orderly housing property.
Perform janitorial duties as necessary.
Make repairs as necessary and ensure systems and equipment are in good working order.
Routinely inspect the housing property and evaluate its physical condition.
Travel as necessary for training.
