About The Position

The Maintenance Technician ensures residents have a safe, comfortable, and attractive living environment by maintaining electrical and mechanical equipment, appliances, and structures. This role is essential for the community's operation, requiring consistent attendance to ensure effective performance and team workflow. The position involves responding to resident service calls, performing various repairs, and occasional duties such as fence mending, assisting with HVAC/refrigeration, key cutting, trash pickup, lawn care, pool cleaning, and carpet shampooing.

Requirements

• Ability to read and write English.
• Prior experience reflecting overall general mechanical aptitude and ability.
• Valid Driver’s License (if operating a vehicle)
• EPA Certificate for Freon Recovery; HVAC Certificate.
• Current Fair Housing Certification

Nice To Haves

• Advanced training, such as that obtained from a mechanical/supervising trade or technical school.
• Prior experience as Service Manager for a multi-unit property.
