About The Position

Inframark is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to help maintain and repair equipment at water and wastewater facilities. The role offers hands-on experience with pumps, motors, electrical systems, preventive maintenance, and industrial equipment, working alongside experienced maintenance professionals. The position supports safe and reliable facility operations that protect public health and the environment. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record, and a basic understanding of electrical systems and hand and power tools. Related experience is helpful, but candidates with strong mechanical aptitude are encouraged to apply. The role requires willingness to learn, work outdoors, and respond to emergency situations when needed. Employment offers are contingent on applicable background screening, drug testing, and driving record review.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Basic understanding of electrical systems and use of hand and power tools.

Strong mechanical aptitude is encouraged for candidates without related experience.

Nice To Haves

HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, or industrial maintenance experience preferred.
One year of related experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair pumps, motors, bearings, seals, gearboxes, and electrical components.
Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and machinery.
Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance calls.
Conduct inspections of pump stations and facility equipment.
Complete work orders and maintenance documentation using tablets and computerized systems.
Assist with facility upkeep and grounds maintenance as needed.
Support safe and reliable operations that protect public health and the environment.
