About The Position

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for repairing and maintaining warehouse and production equipment, including pallet jacks, forklifts, and food-packing equipment. The role also performs general plumbing, welding, and other mechanical maintenance services.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• At least 3 years of related mechanical maintenance work experience.
• Valid driver’s license and excellent driving record.
• Excellent knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance troubleshooting and repair.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to drive a light truck, lift a minimum of 75 pounds, and work on rooftops 30 feet or higher.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge and experience with controls.
• Must own a set of standard hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine repair and maintenance work, including predictive and preventive inspections.
• Repair and maintain pallet jacks, forklifts, production equipment and systems, and plumbing.
• Install and design equipment used in production.
• Perform minor plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance repairs.
• Assist with other service requests as needed.
