About The Position

JLL is seeking a highly motivated and technically inclined individual to join our team as a Maintenance Technician. In this entry-level position, you will provide support in the operation, inspection, and light maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment and systems in assigned facilities. This role presents an excellent opportunity for professional growth in the engineering field.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of related work experience, especially in repair, maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical or carpentry
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfort using ladders up to 30 feet tall
• Ability to frequently climb, bend, kneeling, lift and/or drive
• Strong customer service skills
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

• Trade school, union training, military service or college is desirable

Responsibilities

• Escort vendors to complete contracted preventative maintenance
• Assist the engineering team in the maintenance and repair of building and equipment
• Perform general maintenance including carpentry, HVAC, electrical, plumbing and/or painting
• Complete assigned work orders in CMMS and maintains appropriate service documentation
• Maintain tools, parts, equipment and supplies in clean and safe conditions
• Work closely under the direction of Operating Engineers, Chief Engineers and others
• Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs
• Support on-call or emergency response situations (if applicable)
• Other projects and tasks to be assigned
