Maintenance Technician
About The Position
Due to our continued growth, Mister Kleen Maintenance Company, a trusted leader in providing contract cleaning and integrated facility services to high-security government and commercial facilities in the Chantilly, VA area, is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring our clients' facilities remain safe, efficient, and operating at peak performance. You will perform a wide range of preventive maintenance, repairs, and general facility upkeep while delivering exceptional service and maintaining the high standards of quality, safety, and professionalism that have defined Mister Kleen for decades. The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and takes pride in producing quality work. You should possess strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, be able to work independently with minimal supervision, and be committed to providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced, high-security environment.
Requirements
- An active Top Secret/ SCI - required
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities
- Assisting the engineering team in the efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of building systems
- Perform a variety of building maintenance and repair tasks, including projects that require HVAC, plumbing, and carpentry
- Assist in removing fixtures such as urinals and toilets
- Complete work orders and paperwork in a timely manner
- Regularly inspect all areas of the building(s) to maintain the proper level of appearance and operation, report deficiencies, as well as suggestions for improvement
- Keep the shop, penthouse equipment rooms, and common areas clean, organized, and safe
- Perform other projects as required, e.g. snow removal, cleaning up after contractors perform work, clearing leaves in drains
- Escort non-cleared guests as needed
