About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery and equipment in industrial settings. The ideal candidate will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and collaborate with team members to ensure optimal functioning of all equipment. Safety and organization are paramount in this role.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience as a millwright or in a similar industrial maintenance role
Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
Basic knowledge of industrial electrical systems is a plus
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and other departments
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Fluent in English, both written and verbal

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment in industrial settings
Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal functioning of machinery
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals
Weld and fabricate metal components as needed
Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to complete projects and tasks
Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track work orders and document repairs
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
